Stryke For Glory —
The Fight Wear Brand
Australia Needed
Let's be honest. You've trained in dodgy shorts before. The ones that ride up mid-roundhouse. The ones that make a sound when you walk. The ones that came in a twin-pack from a supermarket you shall not name. We've all been there. Stryke Fightwear exists because that era is officially over.
So What Even Is Stryke?
Stryke is an Australian fight wear brand born out of Melbourne — the city that takes its coffee seriously, its AFL personally, and its Muay Thai increasingly seriously. We build combat sports apparel for fighters who train hard and don't particularly care for anything that falls apart after three sessions, rides up when they throw a teep, or makes them look like they raided their cousin's wardrobe.
The brand didn't start with a PowerPoint deck and a mood board full of "disruption." It started with a simple and mildly annoying observation: Australian fighters deserved fight wear that actually fit the way they trained — not gear imported from somewhere that's never seen a Muay Thai gym in its life.
That's the founding principle. Every pair of Muay Thai shorts, every rashguard, every stitch in this brand has a story behind it. And that story is about fighters — not Instagram models in fight gear who've never thrown a knee in their life. (No offence to Instagram models. You're doing great.)
The Gear — What We Actually Make
Core Shorts — OG Black
The first thing you'll notice about our OG Black Muay Thai shorts is that they don't scream for attention. No neon. No seven logos. No font choices that require explanation. Just Combat Black satin, a high-cut leg opening built for full kicks and knees, and a scorpion badge that sits quietly on the waistband like it owns the place. Because it does.
Made from a polyester blend with nylon — lightweight, fast-drying, and designed to move exactly the way you move. Two woven badges on each side. Seam-cut panels for extra leg room. The shorts that show up to every session without making a fuss about it. That's the Core range. That's the OG.
Core Rashguard — OG Black
The rashguard nobody asked for but everybody needed. Here's the thing about rashguards — most people only think about them after their first session without one. We call this the Mat Burn Epiphany. It's not a nice epiphany.
The Stryke Core Rashguard is a short sleeve compression fit in the same Combat Black. Polyester-spandex blend that moves with every extension, clinch, and scramble. The Stryke scorpion sits on the chest — not on a billboard, just there, quietly doing its thing. Because the gear should let the fighter do the talking.
Who Is This Brand Actually For?
Let's talk about who Stryke is NOT for. We're not for the professional fighter — they're our brand canvas, not our customer. If you're on the Lumpinee poster, incredible, we love you, but this brand isn't built around you.
Stryke is built for the four people who actually make up the heart of every Muay Thai gym in Australia:
The Recreational Fighter. You train three times a week because it's the only hour of the day nobody can reach you on Slack. You've accidentally started calling your commute "active recovery." You deserve great gear. You're here.
The Health & Fitness Fighter. You came for the cardio. You stayed because apparently throwing elbows is extremely satisfying. Nobody told you it would become a personality trait. Here you are.
The Interclub Fighter. You've done your first interclub and you're hooked. You replay the third round in your head every night. You've Googled your own fight name. You belong here.
The Amateur Fighter. You're building something. The record matters. The gear matters. Every session is investment. Stryke is built around this version of you.
The Ascension Series — Because Regular Shorts Are Too Easy
Oh, you thought we'd stop at core shorts and a rashguard? Cute.
The Ascension Series is Stryke's limited edition line — built around the Chinese zodiac, releasing one design per year, with no restocks. Twelve signs. Twelve drops. Once it's gone, it's actually gone. We're not doing the fake scarcity thing where "sold out" means "back in two weeks." When Ascension drops sell out, that's it. The chapter closes.
The first drop is the Year of the Horse. 110 units. High-cut satin shorts with the zodiac design that carries the Horse spirit — forward motion, unstoppable energy, the fighter who runs toward the challenge before they're ready. Sound familiar? It should.
If you're reading this after launch day and the Horse is already sold out — we genuinely apologise. But also, next year brings the GOAT. Literally. January 2027. Mark the calendar.
Melbourne First. Then Everywhere.
Stryke starts in Melbourne. Not because we're being precious about it, but because Melbourne's fight community is legitimate — the gyms are serious, the fighters train properly, and if your gear doesn't hold up here, it doesn't hold up anywhere.
From Melbourne, the brand expands through Australian fight gyms, coaches, and fighters who become the living proof that the gear works. Distribution through the fight community first. Online second. That's the sequence.
Stryke is available online at stryke.com.au — shipping Australia-wide with CouriersPlease, and internationally because fight culture doesn't stop at the border.
For Glory. That's It. That's the Whole Brief.
Every product, every drop, every piece of content Stryke puts out carries two words at the end. For Glory. Not "For Comfort." Not "For Style." Not "For your carefully curated gym aesthetic."
For Glory.
It's the reason fighters wake up early. It's the reason you go back to the gym when the last session left you on the floor. It's the reason a pair of shorts needs to be built properly — because you're wearing them in moments that matter.
We're not selling you clothing. We're outfitting obsession. And if that sounds dramatic, we'd like to redirect you to the people in the photos above, who are very clearly not doing anything casual.
